Recordist: Listening Earth
Location: Tarangire River, Tanzania
Habitat: Savannah grassland
Notes: A group of several hundred zebra come to the river to drink at midday. They are nervous of predators, and indeed we’d seen several prides of lions in the vicinity in previous days. Also heard are collared doves, plover and buffalo weavers. More info
